Ryan Garcia (23-1) is currently dealing with the fallout from his loss to Gervonta Davis (29-0) on April 22. Garcia was undefeated heading into the fight and he certainly wanted to keep his momentum going against Davis. Ryan and Gervonta have a longstanding rivalry and their fight was one of the most anticipated boxing bouts in recent memory. However, the way Garcia lost the fight, left a bad taste as many fans turned on him.
With famous personalities like Andrew Tate and the former UFC double champ Conor McGregor backing the 24-year-old, Garcia certainly seems to be handling the loss well. He even posted a picture with Davis after the fight on his Twitter account and congratulated the Floyd Mayweather protege. However, things have taken an interesting turn very recently as Garcia made some serious accusations on his Instagram account.
Nothing like fighting one of the best! Hopefully one day we can run it back! 🔥👑 pic.twitter.com/oMEGoTifWk

He revealed that there was allegedly a mole in his camp that gave away his secrets. While there is no word on who KingRy was hinting at, fans have assumed it to be Tsendbaatar Erdenebat. Erdenebat was a sparring partner for Garcia in his most recent fight camp for Gervonta Davis. However, the Mongolian boxer has dismissed all the allegations.
Tsendbaatar Erdenebat responds to allegations made by Ryan Garcia
Ahead of the fight, a rumor started doing the rounds that there was a spy in Ryan Garcia’s camp, and the man behind the rumor is Leonard Ellerbe, the Mayweather Promotions CEO. While it may have been a trick to get into Garcia’s head, it certainly put his fans on high alert. Hence the video of Tsendbaatar Erdenebat addressing Garcia after the Davis fight sounded suspicious to Garcia’s fans.
He said, “Hey King Ryan, In sparring I injured you with a body shot. Now you lost to Tank. I’m sorry, are you ok?”
Soon after Ryan made some serious allegations on his Instagram stories. In a now-deleted story, the Mexican-American boxer wrote, “Actually sad I had a mole in my camp like wtf that’s crazy but thank God it’s brought to light now.”
In another subsequent story, Garcia elaborated that he did not want to make it an excuse. Rather, he wanted to bring the story to the public eye. He wrote. “Also didn’t mean to come off as an excuse or anything. I lost period. I’ll come back but I’m just shocked that part of my team crossed me someone close to me. Unbelievable. But it’s a testimony that you must be aware of everyone.”
It seems like the word has traveled fast to Tsendbaatar Erdenebat. While Garcia did not name him specifically, the former Olympian has chosen to clear his name on his own accord. In an Instagram post, Tsendbaatar Erdenebat revealed that he never spilled any of their sparring secrets to Gervonta Davis’ camp. The 26-year-old also took a dig at Garcia and asked him to “try to learn from sparring.”

He wrote, “Hey King Ryan, my Bro! My last post i used google translate. The translation was incorrect and confusing. My apologies. Who is Mole? What are you talking about? I am not mole. I don’t even speak English. I don’t even like Tank. I will fight him and KO him in the future. During our sparring, i tried to help you and sparred Tank style boxing. I was cheering for you to win against Tank. You are great boxer. But Next time try to learn from sparring and hopefully you will not get hit by the same punch during the fight. Good luck to you and God bless!!
While he clarified that English was not his first language, Tsendbaatar Erdenebat’s claim that he hurt Ryan with the same body shot that led to his first pro-boxing defeat, will certainly anger Garcia’s fans. Will the issue fizzle out? Or will the fans see more evidence to support Garcia’s claims? Only time will tell. Meanwhile, let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments down below.
