Deontay ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder is keen on fighting Andy Ruiz Jr. as he posts a new video on the social media platform, Twitter. This contest is one of the most anticipated fights of the year. The Bronze Bomber was last seen in the ring with Robert ‘The Nordic Nightmare’ Helenius. Wilder defeated ‘The Nordic Nightmare’ in the opening round of a fight between former training mates.
Wilder is surrounded by a lot of buzz since he challenged Andy Ruiz Jr., and things started moving quickly. An offer for the fight was given to Andy but there was still no confirmation of the fight. Following his victory, Deontay Wilder was scheduled to meet Andy Ruiz Jr. ‘Destroyer’ has not fought since a decision victory over Luis Ortiz last year. The WBC ordered the match because the winner would face Tyson Fury later.

While the title’s preparations have been kept private, it looks that Wilder vs. Ruiz Jr. will nevertheless be made. Malik Scott, coach of the heavy-hitting former champion, announced the probable fight on Instagram. In a recent development to the challenge, Deontay openly challenged Andy through a video online in which he states, “I have no more time to wait on, we offered you a lot of money and I think you should take it.” Have a look:

Also in a recent video that was posted on Twitter, Andy stated, He’s coming for him(Wilder) and they are into talks for negotiating the fight.
Tim Bradley gives a brutal prediction for Deontay Wilder vs. Andy Ruiz Jr.
Tim Bradley, a two-weight world champion and a Hall of Fame inductee is best recognized for his fights against Manny Pacquiao. Although he was hardly a knockout artist himself, he knew the game, and betting against Wilder generating an early finish is never a good idea.
Tim Bradley, a recent Hall of Fame inductee, offered his prediction in half-rhyme to ESPN’s Max on Boxing. “I can’t wait. If it does happen it’s a fantastic fight. I know Andy Ruiz, I know he likes to eat, but I’m telling you right now, if he fights Deontay Wilder he’s going to sleep.” Bradley stated. The 37-year-old has 42 knockdowns in 43 victories, with the one guy who went out of his way – Bermaine Stiverne – not faring as well in the rematch.
It means Ruiz’s chances are stacked against him, and he must try to join Tyson Fury as the sole individual who can stand up to the Alabama fighter’s strength. Bradley’s last request was for the bout to be signed rather than merely discussed. “All right, I just need less talking and more writing. That’s what I need for all these heavyweights and everybody in each division. Less talking, more writing for all these guys. That’s all I’m gonna say about that.” Bradley added. (Via- Boxing Social)
Meanwhile, Tyson Fury has been public about his desire to find a good replacement after the Oleksandr Usyk fight fell off. Mauricio Sulaiman, WBC president, appears to be willing to hand ‘The Gipsy King’ either Deontay Wilder or Andy Ruiz Jr. Last autumn, he ordered the two to compete for a championship chance. Apparently, there is yet no confirmation on whether the matchup is going to happen between the two contenders.
