Dillon Danis went after Logan Paul’s Japan controversy as he posted another targeted tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter). This time, Danis connected Paul’s Oppenheimer comments with his actions in Japan.
Paul, who was embroiled in a huge controversy after he visited the Aokigaha forest in Japan, claimed that he walked out of the movie Oppenheimer because he did not understand what was going on. During IMPAULSIVE episode #391, to the shock of everyone present, Paul said, “I walked out of Oppenheimer.”

He also had a similar incident with another Christopher Nolan movie. However, that movie is one of his favorites now. He said, “Separately, 18 minutes into Interstellar and I was considering walking out because it was so slow and now Interstellar is my top three favorite movies.”
On the other hand, when he was asked about why he decided to walk out of the Cillian Murphy-led movie, he said, “I didn’t know what they were trying. I… We… What are you doing? It’s just everyone’s just talking it’s just an hour and a half, 90 minutes of talking.”
He was disappointed there weren’t actually any dead Japanese people on the screen. https://t.co/qQqZU0ICZr

Referring to these comments, Danis wrote on X, “He was disappointed there weren’t actually any dead Japanese people on the screen.”
Oppenheimer was a movie based on Robert Oppenheimer. In 1943, Robert was tasked with developing the first nuclear weapons. He was instrumental in developing the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan in 1945. According to reports, close to 200,000 Japanese people died in the bombings.
Dillon Danis mocked Logan Paul’s Japan visit during their press conference
The Aokigahara forest, also called the ‘suicide forest’, is located at the base of Mount Fuji in Japan. Paul uploaded a vlog on December 31, 2017, in which he revealed a recently deceased corpse of a man. This resulted in enormous backlash for Paul and his team. It even led to Dwayne Johnson, ‘The Rock’, breaking all ties with Paul. He had to issue a public apology for his actions.

Danis’ latest comments on X are not the only time he has targeted this controversy. In his vlog, Paul had worn a hat. Danis showed up at the press conference with the same hat. Some reports suggested that he bought the exact same hat.
The press conference was the only official one before Danis and Paul squared off in the boxing ring on October 14, 2023. The ‘PRIME Card’ event will also see KSI take on Tommy Fury.
