Jake Paul is set to make his boxing return against Tommy Fury this month. Having become quite the name in influencer boxing, Paul faces his toughest opponent yet. As such, Jake has been going extra hard in his sparring sessions to prepare himself for the challenge.
Previously, Jake made noise in the world of boxing after beating former MMA fighter, Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley (twice), and most recently, Anderson Silva. However, Paul’s accomplishments have always been plagued by accusations and criticism. As such, he has now decided to up the stakes and finally face an actual boxer.

Thus, Paul is now scheduled, for the third time, to fight Tommy Fury. For those unaware, Tommy Fury is the half-brother of the WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury. In preparation for Fury, Jake has been spending hours on end training every single day.
As such, in a post by Most Valuable Promotions, we see Jake in between rounds, getting blood cleaned off of him. The post is captioned, “No blood, no glory. Jake Paul is ready. Tommy Fury is ready. #PaulFury Sunday, February 26th from Saudi Arabia.” According to many, Tommy is Paul’s most difficult opponent yet.

Sporting an 8-0 professional record, there are no doubts about the legitimacy of the Englishman as a boxer. However, just like with Jake, many often point out the bad records of all the fighters Fury has faced. Thus, Paul is also Tommy’s most dangerous opponent yet.
When is Jake Paul fighting Tommy Fury?
Paul vs Fury will be an 8-round bout in the cruiserweight division. Notably, the fight will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on February 26, 2023. Moreover, fans will also be treated to a WBC cruiserweight championship bout between Badou Jack and Ilunga Makabu in the undercard.

Lastly, fans can watch the fight and all the other bouts on the card via Top Rank ESPN+ PPV, BT Sport, and DAZN PPV. Coming into the fight, both fighters are undefeated. However, along with that, there are other high stakes involved in the fight as well. For one, Tyson Fury and John Fury have claimed that should Tommy lose to Jake, he will be disowned by the family and will have to retire from the sport entirely.
Further, Tommy has also given his word that he will walk away from the sport if he is unable to beat “Disney star” Jake. As for “The Problem Child”, he also needs this win in order to prove his critics wrong. In the past, Paul has been accused of paying off fighters to take a fall and criticized for not fighting “real boxers”.

With so much on the line, Jake will definitely have to put in his best performance to date. As such, a win against Tommy would go a long way in getting him some well-deserved credit. Further, a win will also set up his ultimate goal and much-anticipated fight against KSI, set to take place later this year.
