In one of the most highly anticipated bouts of the year, Gervonta ‘Tank‘ Davis will set out to make a statement against ‘King’ Ryan Garcia. The long-simmering bad blood between the two will finally come to an end when they face each other on April 22. The pair of superstars will finally grace the squared ring against each other after years of build-up.
The duo has been exchanging heated words for quite some time now on Twitter. However, the two young bucks didn’t stop just there. The African-American even had a physical altercation with Garcia inside a nightclub. As per the 24-year-old, Davis grabbed his chain and almost initiated a scrap. Fortunately for the fans, they won’t have to wait any longer as the two will let their fists fly inside the T-Mobile Arena on April 22.

With Davis’ one-punch KO power and Garcia’s unbelievable speed, fans expect a striking war for the ages with this one. Two of boxing’s electrifying stars will throw down in Las Vegas, Nevada. As per reports, the two had been negotiating for months, before finally announcing the highly anticipated bout earlier this year.
Gervonta Davis is coming off a fresh TKO victory over Hector Garcia back in January. Whereas Ryan hasn’t been active since a summer showdown with Javier Fortuna last year. While both fighters possess astonishing finishes and undefeated records, this bout will definitely propel the winner’s name to stardom.
The magnitude of the main event is so huge that Golden Boy Promotions and PBC have joined hands to stage the bout. TV network Showtime and streaming app DAZN have followed in their footsteps as well.
‘Tank’ has achieved a secondary championship at super lightweight whereas Ryan has recently jumped up a weight class. Thus, the two will lock horns in a 136 lb catchweight bout, just one pound over the lightweight cap. Aside from this, the opener bout will witness a middleweight clash between well-known 19-year-old prospect Elijah Garcia and Kevin Zambrano. Elijah is coming off a fresh March victory over Amilcar Vidal Junior.
