In 2022, former kickboxer Andrew Tate, along with his brother, Tristan, became one of the most searched names on the internet. The Tate brothers have been involved in various controversies in recent times. Moreover, they were even arrested at their house in Romania for charges of rape and human trafficking.
However, people are still unaware of the ethnicity of the Top G. Andrew Tate was born in Washington, D.C on December 1, 1986, to parents Emory Tate and Eileen Tate. His father was an African American who was a renowned chess International Master during his time.
On the other hand, his mother was an English lady who used to work as a catering assistant. Although Tate was born in the United States of America, he grew up in Luton, England. In England, he used to live with his mother and other siblings.
Moreover, he has two siblings, namely, his younger brother Tristan and sister Janine Tate. The youngest child, Janine Tate, lives with her mother in Kentucky, USA. Unlike her brothers, she prefers living a quiet life, and it’s stated that she also shares a different opinion.
Andrew Tate has also discussed in a YouTube live session that she’s really close to her sister; however, he still loves her. On the other hand, his brother, Tristan, mostly lives with him. Lately, the two have also been living together in Romania. Thus, Andrew Tate is of mixed ethnicity, as he’s an African-American-Brirish.
Which religion does Andrew Tate believe in?
Massive confusion has been raised about Andrew Tate’s religion. The Top G was born in an Orthodox Christian household. However, it’s been stated that the latter turned into an atheist during the phase of his life.
However, before getting arrested, in October 2022, he officially became a Muslim. Following the conversion, Andrew Tate praised the religion numerous times and even called Islam “the last true religion”. In a few of his podcasts and talking sessions, he also tried validating his opinion of religion.
If good touches you, it distresses them; but
If harm strikes you, they rejoice at it.
And if you are patient and fear Allah,
Their plot will not harm you at all.
Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do.

The former kickboxer even encouraged other people to convert. Tate once tweeted, “This is why I’m Muslim. Any Christian who believes in good and understands the true battle against evil must convert”.
Andrew Tate’s opinions have always been the main reason behind all of his controversies. Currently, he’s banned from Facebook and Instagram for violating their policies on hate speech. However, he still provides regular updates through his Twitter account.
