Former WWE Superstar Rhaka Khan (real-life Trenesha Biggers) has been making the headlines for filing a lawsuit against several entities, including the State of Texas, NBA legend Michael Jordan and WWE personalities such as The Miz, Jim Cornette, and Dwayne Johnson. She claims that the defendants “conspired to kidnap” her and her children and is claiming $3 billion.
Khan, who reportedly filed the lawsuit in October 2022, was authorized to move ahead with it after pre-paying court fees. The former IMPACT Wrestling (formerly TNA) star has not been in the ring since 2011 when she fought for Lucha Libre USA. However, her recent antics brought her into the limelight once again after the lawsuit came to the fore in late April 2023.
The former WWE star’s life has been a roller coaster. Whether it be in the ring or outside of it, the 41-year-old has always been subject to controversy. The recent lawsuit could only divert fans away from what she has achieved inside the ring.
Rhaka Khan was the former partner of a WWE Hall of Famer
Trenesha Biggers’ wrestling journey started in 2005 when she entered the Diva Search but was eliminated in the first 25. WWE then expressed an interest in the superstar which resulted in her landing a developmental contract. However, Rhaka was released from the contract in May 2006.
During her time in the sports entertainment juggernaut, Khan was a part of the developmental brand Deep South Wrestling, where she served as a valet to The Regulators, alongside wrestling from time to time.
After her stint with WWE ended, Khan moved to the independent circuit, where she was a part of Japan’s Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX promotion as Panther Claw. The 41-year-old was also part of Florida’s Full Impact Pro and Philadelphia’s Women’s Extreme Wrestling promotions. Among her other monikers, she was known as Black Barbie or Barbie.
In 2008, Rhaka Khan joined TNA (now IMPACT) Wrestling, siding with Scott Steiner. She served as an on-screen manager for some time before making her in-ring debut. The star later turned heel to join the Kongtourage and launch vicious attacks on some of the babyface wrestlers. She was released from her TNA contract in October 2009. Khan finished her wrestling career with Lucha Libre USA in 2011.
If I’m reading this right… The Rock, The Miz, Chris Benoit, Mick Foley and others conspired to kidnap Rhaka Khan and her children?? That seems way far fetched @KlassicMike @ReBourneAgain @breakkerstreet @bigbird432 @kat_woman13 @DbWrasslin @JohnGarces @Jay371992 pic.twitter.com/bITfRLo0YI

Alongside a tumultuous in-ring career, Khan also did not enjoy a healthy personal life. She was in a relationship with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, but things turned astray when she filed for protection from abuse against Angle in 2009. The PFA was later voluntarily lifted by her.
In 2019, Biggers was also reportedly listed as one of El Paso’s most wanted fugitives after she was charged with interference in child custody. She was also reportedly beaten unconscious by her ex-husband, an independent wrestler, in front of their children. Her former husband is currently on probation. Rhaka Khan’s life has been nothing short of a tragic progression of mishaps, and it remains to be seen how her current lawsuit will progress.
