After the 2022 US Open, Serena Williams announced her retirement from tennis, after an accomplished on-court career.

The 23-time Grand Slam singles champion, has been recently reported to be baptized as Jehovah's Witness which was a life-changing event for the champ.

Williams has been relatively quiet about her personal life, which includes her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and her daughter, whom she welcomed in 2017.

But she has spoken about her religion and faith a lot of times in the past and she recently revealed details about her being Jehovah’s Witness.

When asked about what her husband feels about her religion, she said- “Alexis didn’t grow up going to any church, but he’s really receptive and even takes the lead. He puts my needs first.”

Someone once commented on Olympia's picture saying- "It’s so sad that Olympia will not have a BD party"; as Jehovah's witnesses don't celebrate their birthdays. Alexis replied-"‘I’m not a Witness, but I considered how made up it all is: the purpose of celebrating a birthday is to celebrate life with the people who love you."

He continued- "‘This baby is loved and will get to celebrate life with people who love her plenty of times, with plenty of parties throughout her life.". His reply was appreciated by many.

Although being the co-founder of one of the most visited social media platforms, Alexis prefers to live a private life and leads by example of being an ideal husband.
