Serena Williams Is Not the Only Celebrity Who Is Jehovah’s Witness

After suffering a heartbreaking loss against Ajla Tomljanovic in the 3rd round of the 2022 US Open, Tennis legend Serena Williams announced her retirement after an accomplished on-court career.

Serena has been open about her faith which originated in the USA during the 1870s. She has thanked the “Jehovah God” multiple times, one of the most popular ones was after receiving the Australian Open trophy in 2015. 

Jehovah's Witnesses is a Christian sect that prefers to use their own Bible translation, The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. Jehovah's Witnesses believe in one God, not the Trinity. and consider Jesus as the son of God.

Serena has been recently reported to be baptized as Jehovah's witness at the Jehovah's Witness Assembly in West Palm Beach, Florida. which was a life-changing event for the champ.

However, the  23-time Grand Slam singles champion is not the only famous personality to adopt Jehovah's witness faith.

The elder sister Venus Williams was also raised under the faith of Jehovah God by her mother Oracene Prince, who converted to the religion in the 1980s.

R&B singer and actor Marques Houston also got converted to the Jehovah's Witness faith and he has been seen openly talking and sharing about his faith on social media.

Many other celebs like supermodel Naomi Campbell, the Jackson family, and rapper Ja Rule were also raised to be Jehovah’s Witnesses and some eventually became their followers.
