WWE Universe witnessed a heart-touching moment on Raw, where the two icons John Cena and Cody Rhodes engaged in a segment when Cena was leaving the arena. Both were seen hugging and exchanging words.
Many unbelievable moments happened before WrestleMania, including the return of John Cena and his segment with Cody Rhodes. Fans are left with thoughts about their anticipated partnership.
On Astro Stadium, Rhodes talked about their talks. He said, "I was telling him if he ever does another match, I would like, and I think you could hear him pretty well. He says, ‘I can’t promise that.’"
He mentioned his proposal was respectfully disagreed with by Cena, but the reason might be his Hollywood commitments, as he has been the most inconsistent star since he made his Hollywood debut.
Cody Rhodes tweeted a few days ago, "Reward their loudness." Fans thought Cena said these words to Rhodes, but Rhodes later clarified that they were from an earlier conversation with John Cena.
Cena has an ongoing feud with Austin Theory, and both are competing for the US Championship at WrestleMania 39, so no anticipated matchup between them before this WrestleMania.
Cody Rhodes also has a feud with Roman Reigns for the undisputed Universal Championship. Rhodes is already making sure that he will win the Undisputed Universal Championship for the first time.
Rhodes concluded describing his meeting with Cena by saying that he didn’t want that moment to be all about him and thanked Cena for making a wonderful moment of his entrance.
