The Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, returned to Raw earlier this week to confront Cody Rhodes, as The Tribal Chief will defend his championship against Rhodes at WrestleMania 39.

WrestleMania 39 is a two-night event and will take place on April 1 and April 2 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The main event of Reigns vs. Rhodes will occur on Day 2.

However, some new reports suggest that Reigns may take a break following the match. It's believed that Rhodes will defeat Reigns and win the Undisputed Universal title.

According to a report by GiveMeSport, Reigns might not be seen until SummerSlam, which is scheduled to take place in August. He'll be taking a break for at least a month or longer until there’s a major show.

Reigns is presently enjoying the longest tenure as the Universal Champion in the WWE's 35-year history. He has held 2 titles ever since winning the WWE Title at WrestleMania last year against Lesnar.

Furthermore, Rhodes made his return to WWE at WrestleMania 38. After being absent due to injury since Hell in a Cell 2022, he returned at the Royal Rumble 2023 and won the title shot against Reigns.

Many fans and experts believe Rhodes to be the ideal one to dethrone the tribal chief. The Undertaker also stated that Rhodes has gained the required momentum and has a promising future.

Although many feel Rhodes should win, some are skeptical, as the likes of Brock Lesnar have failed against Reigns. However, it'll be interesting to see whether Sami Zayn will play a role here or not.
