SUMMARY
- Ben Tynan defeated Duke Didier at ONE Fight Night 21.
- After the win, Tynan called out ONE triple-champ Anatoly Malykhin.
Three-division ONE MMA World Champion Anatoly Malykhin has been taunting the man who called him out this past weekend, Ben Tynan. Tynan continued his unbeaten start to life as a ONE Championship heavyweight MMA fighter with a one-round demolition of Australia’s Duke Didier at ONE Fight Night 21: Eersel vs. Nicolas on Prime Video on April 5.
The Canadian former NCAA Division I wrestler crossed paths with Malykhin at the weigh ins and later spoke confidently of his chances of defeating the Russian powerhouse if they were to meet in the Circle.

“Anatoly Malykhin, he seems like a really nice guy and I wish him well. But, with all due respect, I’ll put a whooping on him,” he said. Tynan holds a perfect 6-0 professional record, with a 100 percent finish rate. Incredibly, none of his amateur opponents saw the final bell, either.
Anatoly Malykhin promises to make short work of Ben Tynan
Anatoly Malykhin has clapped back at Ben Tynan after the Canadian’s recent callout. “Sladkiy” took to Instagram with a clip of Tynan’s words, followed by a video of himself mocking the rising star’s signature t-shirt tearing post-fight celebration. Emblazoned on Malykhin’s chest is the slogan “round 1 sleep time,” but the caption when translated from Russian reads in particularly savage fashion.
“In the first round we will check whose wrestling is better, and in the second – boxing. But it seems to me that this fight will never come to the boxing test. @vanillathundermma, your bedtime will come in the first round,” the Russian to English translation read.

Malykhin is one of the biggest stars on the ONE roster. The undefeated 36-year-old made history earlier this year when he demolished Reinier de Ridder for the second time to become the first MMA athlete to ever win World Titles in three separate weight classes.
After relieving “The Dutch Knight” of his ONE Light Heavyweight MMA World Title in 2022, Malykhin this time claimed his middleweight MMA crown. The belt is his third, after he crushed long-time ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion Arjan Bhullar last year.
