Randy Orton was a recognized top fascination when WWE made a tour stop in South Africa in 2013. A Wrestling fan attacked Randy Orton invading the ring.
Orton faced Big E that evening and ascended the top rope after winning the match to make his famous pose. A spectator leaped the barricade, invaded the ring, and hit Orton as he was taking in the roars of the excited crowd.
Orton actually received a low blow, causing Randy Orton to fall to the floor. At first, Orton appeared to be selling, but as soon as he turned around and realized that the man who had attacked him was an unidentified bystander, he jumped to his feet and appeared prepared to beat him down.
The fan was hauled out of the ring by security, but Orton got his revenge by sneaking in a swift kick to the head. Orton gave him the finger as he was led out of the arena as a goodbye gesture.
The fan was also a wrestler. Tshepo Sekhabi was better known as Jozi the Wrestling Machine in the South African independent wrestling scene. After receiving a head kick, the man recorded a promo in a backstage area where he babbled about his desire to face Randy Orton in a contest.
The police detained Jozi, and WWE filed charges against him. Joxi later said that his dislike of Randy Orton was the driving force behind his actions.
When Orton was asked whether this hit by a fan was outlined as part of the business, Randy Orton retorted angrily, saying, Hitting someone in the b*lls can never be part of work. He adds, “You would probably fall over, break your neck, and die“. Moreover, Randy made sure he would fall inside the ring. Later, WWE revealed that it was not business.
When will Randy Orton return to the WWE?
The Viper has been out of action since having back surgery for a considerable amount of time. The WWE Hall of Famer recently expressed his opinion that Orton will return to action shortly. At the Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle provided the most recent medical update on Randy Orton.
Kurt Angle said, “Doing good man. He recovered from his back surgery. He’s, I think he’s gonna come back pretty damn soon. He’s doing much better, yes”.
The wives of Randy and Kurt, Kim Orton and Giovanna Angle, are friends. Thus, it’s conceivable that Kurt knows some inside information about Randy. John Cena, The Rock has recently made his comeback to WWE, so fans are anticipating Viper’s return as well.
