John Cena is a prominent figure in the world of professional wrestling. He has been entertaining the fans from inside the squared circle for several years now. Besides his matches, fans also always looked forward to his promos. However, according to the fans, Cena from a particular era was horrible.
The era in question was the PG era of WWE. During this time, John Cena acted weirdly and delivered weird comedic promos. In fact, the Leader of the Cenation delivered the worst promo of his career during this era.
The promo took place in 2010 on an episode of Monday Night RAW, while Cena and Sheamus were inside the WWE ring. Cena then said, “Baloney, fudge, and mustard! My life is being ruined by the internet. I haven’t flipped out this bad since my mom canceled my subscription to Warcraft.”
This gotta be the WORST promo of John Cena’s whole career. 💀
This has to be in the same list as Roman’s “Sufferin’ succotash” promo.

Thereafter, he gave Michael Cole his email address, which was “CandyPants564@gmail.com.” While the 16-time world champion tried to make the fans laugh with his promo, fans did not find it to be funny, and marked it as the worst promo of Cena’s career.
Fans react to John Cena’s worst promo
John Cena’s “Baloney, fudge, and mustard!” promo is still considered his worst promo from the PG era. Meanwhile, recently, the promo once again came into the spotlight and caught the attention of the fans. Several fans then took their ‘X’ handles to share their thoughts on the promo. One fan wrote, “What a horrendous promo.”

Different fans reacted differently to John Cena’s worst promo. Some stated that, though Cena was the face of the company for several years, the PG era was bad for him. On the other hand, some fans stated that John Cena failed to impress them from 2009 to 2011. A fan wrote, “2009-2011 John Cena is not good.”
In addition to that, many fans compared John Cena’s worst promo with Roman Reigns’ worst promo. Thus, it seems the PG-era John Cena failed to win the hearts of the fans.
John Cena presented a noteworthy WWE run
Despite not being able to catch the attention of the fans during the PG era, John Cena presented his beloved fans with a noteworthy WWE run. Not to mention, Cena has been a part of the Stamford-based promotion since 2001. But he has been making part-time appearances since 2018.
Throughout his WWE career, Cena has participated in numerous storylines and headlined multiple Premium Live Events. He has also won many championships, including the WWE Championship 13 times, the World Heavyweight Championship three times, the United States Championship five times, and more.
Cena was recently seen making a surprise appearance in the main event of WrestleMania 40 Night 2. Thereafter, he also made another appearance on RAW after WrestleMania. But the 16-time world champion has been absent from WWE television since then. It now remains to be seen when Cena will make his next appearance in the largest wrestling promotion in the world.
