With a sudden increase in the ratings for WWE this year, various fans have tuned into the product and invested their money into it. It has been a successful year for the company with excellent merchandise sales as well. The recent UFC-WWE merger has opened new doors for the company financially. Not only in terms of Premium Live Events, WWE is rocketing the ticket sales for their weekly shows.
RAW and SmackDown are surely on a roll with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins being the faces of the shows respectively. Their weekly influence boosts ticket sales and viewership which is compensated by their immense segments and matches. There is no doubt in saying that fans are eager to see what happens next on both the shows which explains the massive ticket sales each week.
With Crown Jewel around the corner, Roman Reigns will be putting his title on the line against the massively over LA Knight. Their rivalry ignited earlier this month when Roman made his triumphant return to the blue brand. The show itself was sold out and did good numbers for the company as well. With their upcoming contract signing on display, SmackDown has sold over 11,000 tickets for this week’s show.

On the contrary, AEW has seemed to suffer a dip when it comes to ticket sales. Their average ticket sales each week for Dynamite reach up to 5,000 per week which is extremely low according to the arena. Their most recent Pay-per-view WrestleDream did almost 6,000 ticket sales which is a record low for the company. Despite Adam Copeland making his debut for the company, fans still prefer WWE over AEW.
WWE Crown Jewel Ticket Sales Ahead Of AEW’s Full Gear
With Roman Reigns and LA Knight headlining this year’s Saudi Premium Live Event, fans have shown their interest massively in the upcoming event. The tickets for the upcoming show went on sale earlier this month and were sold out immediately upon sale. It shows the hype and support fans have shown to WWE this year in terms of ticket sales and viewership.

AEW’s upcoming Pay-Per-View Full Gear doesn’t seem to quite match the hype of Crown Jewel. With WWE selling out the Mohammed Abdo Arena for Crown Jewel within a day, AEW is having a hard time selling out their upcoming event. With a setup of almost 10,000, AEW has sold 8,700 tickets for the show which is scheduled for next month.
Riyadh will be hosting Crown Jewel inside the Mohammed Abdo Arena which has a capacity of over 20,000 seats. They will look to burn the house down as a stacked card is in talks for the Mega Saudi Event. It will be a tough job for AEW to compete with WWE in terms of ticket sales and viewership which will surely bring out the best from both companies.
