I believe, in my mind, it was the greatest match of all time.”

Angle further talked about how good Shawn was and how everything between them clicked inside the squared circle. The match itself is one of the best matches of all time and shows how good both of the legendary performers truly are.

He further talked about how Michaels agreed to put Angle over instead of winning the match. “..Because Shawn told me, ‘You should get the win right here because you’re going to be paired up against John Cena after this.’ He wasn’t political. He just said, ‘Hey, I’ll do the job.’ And he even said I’ll tap out to you.’ And I was like, ‘Great,” stated Angle.
Their rivalry is considered to be one of the most fierce and is remembered by the fans to this date. There is no doubt in saying that Angle and Michaels had amazing chemistry and their WrestleMania 21 match is just an example of it.
