- Ric Flair slammed ESPN's Alan Hahn for comparing LeBron James to an old iPhone.
- James managed to record a huge win for the Lakers while recording a triple-double.
LeBron James rocked the world with his latest performance during the Los Angeles Lakers win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Last year, ESPN’s Alan Hahn commented on one of James’ performances and compared him to an old iPhone that never gets back to 100%. As expected, these comments weren’t taken lightly by fans, especially a former WWE superstar. However, turned things around to bring the Lakers to Play-In contention.
After James recorded a monstrous triple-double against the Pelicans, Rick Flair took to X and said, “I’m sorry to report to you @alanhahn that LeBron recorded another triple-double a year after you called him an old man. You stupid SOB. It’s so embarrassing to have you report about sports. When I see you on @GetUpESPN Or @FirstTake, I turn the TV off. @KingJames, Triple Double. The @Lakers March On! WOOOOO!”
He IS old. And as I said then he’s still great. Just like you, Ric.
Can’t wait for @GetUpESPN tomorrow. I know you’ll be watching.

Hahn responded to Flair and ate his own words saying, “He IS old. And as I said then he’s still great. Just like you, Ric. Can’t wait for @GetUpESPN tomorrow. I know you’ll be watching. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO.” Flair, a Hall of Fame WWE personality has been an Lakers fan for ages. James made Laker Nation proud after bringing his team to a 124-108 victory.
LeBron James has the most seasons averaging at least 20 points per game
The 4x NBA Champion never takes a break from shattering records. Being 39 years old puts James’ legacy on an extremely high level, but being the only NBA player to record at least 20 points per game over 20 seasons is beyond human capabilities. The lowest James has averaged is 20.9 points per game which came out of his rookie season.
It is even more impressive that James has not averaged 25 points per game since the 2004-05 season. In his 19th season, the 20x NBA All-Star was the first player to record 35,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 10,000 assists. After the LA vs New Orleans game, James became the fourth player in NBA history to dish over 11,000 assists ranking just behind Chris Paul.
LeBron James reveals Lakers’ game plan moving into the Play-In Tournament vs Pelicans
With scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds, and 17 assists against the Pelicans, LeBron James shared his thoughts on meeting NOLA in the Play-In Tournament. He said, “Each game is different and is going to have its own challenges. We could take a few things from tonight. But at the end of the day, the game is going to be won in between the four lines on Tuesday.”
He added, “We got to come out with the same intensity. We’ve got to lock in defensively, we’ve got to not turn over the ball and we got to get shot. And if we do that, we’ll be alright.” James has not lost in Play-In Tournament games since the introductory season. He only missed the Play-Ins during the 2021-22 season, as they were crippled with injuries.
