WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey has made a name for herself in the world of combat sports. She used to be one of the most feared women in UFC, becoming the first-ever women’s champion of the MMA giants. In 2015, while still the Bantamweight Champion in UFC, Rousey had a cameo role in Furious 7 alongside the late Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.
Ronda Rousey rose to fame in 2008 after winning Bronze in the Beijing Olympics. At the age of 21, she retired from the sport to foray into MMA and became a household name after becoming a dominant champion in UFC and holding onto the bantamweight title for a record-breaking reign. Rousey has since embarked on a journey in WWE, where she is already a multi-time women’s champion and a star performer.

Following the release of Furious 7, The Baddest Woman on the Planet sat down with Entertainment Tonight Online to talk about the experience working with Paul Walker, who passed away during filming. Rousey stated that Walker was a joy to be around, and the atmosphere was family-like.
“I was only filming while he was still with us,” Rousey said of Walker. “The atmosphere was very cheery and family-like, and everyone was there just to help each other. He was a joy to be around, and you could tell that everybody wasn’t there for themselves, they were there for each other. I’m just lucky to have been one of the last people to witness that.”

Rousey played the role of Kara in the film and also had a fight scene with Michelle Rodriguez, where she threw her into a door. Rodriguez, who plays Letty in the franchise, was also a joy to work with, according to Ronda Rousey, and did not shy away from doing the stunts.
How did Paul Walker pass away?
Furious 7 was in the middle of filming when Paul Walker, the lead star of the franchise alongside Vin Diesel, passed away in a car accident. His passing happened on November 30, 2013, at about 3:30 p.m. PST. Walker, who was 40 at the time, was riding alongside his friend Roger Rodas, who also passed away.

Rodas was driving his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT in a neighborhood in Santa Clarita, California. They were seemingly riding over the speed limit and crashed into a concrete lamppost and two trees, their bodies charred beyond recognition. It marked the end of a sensational actor who had won the hearts of many fans with his brilliant acting.
