The WWE Universe has an extreme level of craze for the WWE 2K series. Starting in 2000, the game has been releasing its new season every month. WWE 2K has been gaining worldwide attention with its new season every year with better visuals, better graphics, and of course better performance.
Post the game’s release in March 2023, the fans have brought out both the pros and cons of the game. However, everyone’s eyes are constantly on their favorite WWE Superstar rating. However, it was LA Knight whose ratings came as a shock for a second consecutive time.
Looking at LA Knight’s WWE run, despite being a heel, he has won the hearts of all in the past few months. His recent storyline with Bray Wyatt earned him a huge fan base and strong support. However, his WWE 2K ratings fail to portray the same. As per 2kratings.com, LA Knight has an overall rating of 81 in the latest – 2K23 edition of the game.
In the previous edition of the game (2K22), Knight carried exactly the same rating leaving fans in question about his growth in the company. The WWE Universe knows how much the Knight has risen and all this puts a question on WWE’s motive for the star. WWE 2K is clear evidence of showcasing the push that WWE sees for LA Knight.
Why is WWE reluctant to push LA Knight?
It took LA Knight very little time to impact the WWE Universe. The fans are demanding a massive push for the 40-year-old WWE star but the requests seem to go down the drain. He was the favorite to walk off with the WWE Money In The Bank briefcase at the latest PLE but it was Damian Priest who was successful in doing so.
In the post-show press conference, WWE’s Head of Creative Triple H was asked why Knight was held back from winning the briefcase. “Great things come to those who wait, and that rise is just getting started,” said HHH and claimed that he knew that LA was a fan favorite.
Triple H’s made everyone wonder when would be the right time for LA to get his push. As per recent reports, Cultholic revealed that LA Knight’s push would not begin until SummerSlam. The fans will have to wait for at least a fortnight to see WWE take a big step toward fan fame.
