Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel, two prominent actors in the “Fast & Furious” franchise allegedly had beef with each other. The tension apparently arose during the production of “The Fate of the Furious” in 2016, with Johnson expressing his frustrations about some of his male co-stars on social media, although he did not specifically mention Diesel. However, the two apparently buried the hatchet recently.
Amid the reports of a rivalry between the two, Diesel announced the return of The Rock to the franchise with the “Fast X” movie. And as expected, Dwayne Johnson reprised his previous role of Inspector Hobbs in the mid-credit scene. Although it is a big deal, Diesel, the producer of the franchise didn’t even mention the inclusion of The Rock while talking about the next outing in his Instagram post.

Vin started off by announcing the release date of the “Fast X” sequel which is April 4th, 2025. He further described how the actors involved have been “expressive and collaborative”. Also giving a special mention to the latest addition to the franchise “Jason Momoa”. “Jason wanted to try something totally unique and special and ended up creating a scene-stealing character that the world won’t forget,” Diesel stated.
In the end, Vin manifested appreciation towards the fans, also mentioning the $7 billion box-office figures of the franchise. However, in the long post, there was no mention of Johnson’s internet-breaking appearance in the latest “Fast X” film. That too when he acknowledged the performance of Jason Momoa.
The main protagonist of The Fast and Furious franchise’s net worth is a whopping $225 Million.
Meanwhile, Diesel’s ignorant post hints at the reignition of the feud between him and The Rock. Nevertheless, it seems way too early to jump to any conclusions without any news. So, fans should wait for further updates.
