It’s been over a week since pro wrestling veteran Edge joined All Elite Wrestling, but he’s still the talk of the town. WWE’s CCO Triple H had remained silent about Adam Copeland’s departure until now, but he has finally talked about the 49-year-old’s decision of joining AEW.
This happened after the Stamford-based promotion’s recently held Fastlane 2023 PLE. As The Game came out to interact with the media in the press conference after the show, he was asked about The Ultimate Opportunist’s decision to leave the Triple H-led promotion.
Answering the question, the 14-time WWE Champion responded pretty firmly and shared how it was Adam‘s decision. He shared that the veteran probably felt that he did everything there was for him to do here, and we sort of felt the same.

The Chief Content Officer said that if someone from the roster feels that a different opportunity is better for them, that’s alright. But he also added, “The machine doesn’t stop for anyone. We’re just gonna continue to grow and continue to do what we do. And I’m excited.”
Alongside sharing how nothing really changed after Edge’s departure, Triple H also revealed that there are no hard feelings between the two parties. The legendary WWE performer disclosed that he’s happy for The Rated R Superstar, and even wished him the best for his in-ring future in the pro wrestling industry.
Edge previously spoke about his relations with Triple H and WWE
The Game shared his views about Edge’s decision to leaving WWE after the October 7 PLE, but Copeland shared his side as soon as he joined Tony Khan’s company. Tweeting a long statement after his grand debut in AEW, the 49-year-old spoke about his relations with Triple H and the Stamford-based promotion.
In the message for his fans, The Ultimate Opportunist shared how sometimes relations just grow apart. Alongside this, at that time he also revealed that he’s thankful to the Triple H-led promotion for the opportunities they provided to him throughout their long association.
Later in an interview, Edge disclosed that he has received a lot of messages from individuals within WWE. He added that people from the office, performers, and other departments have given their best wishes to him. The pro wrestling legend further said that “none of them are mad.”
Adam (Edge) Copeland, speaking to Sports Illustrated, on the reaction from WWE for his arrival in AEW, stating that everyone there is happy for him:

The Rated R Superstar’s statement was quite similar to what Triple H said after WWE Fastlane. Looking at these positive comments, it seems that both parties are on good terms with each other. With Adam now in AEW, it’ll be interesting to see which dream matches he will fight in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
