Despite having much inclination towards the UFC, one cannot deny the fact that Joe Rogan is a dire pro wrestling fan too. The UFC commentator recently invited Dwayne Johnson to his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, where the two got involved in a deep conversation. Amidst this, Rogan didn’t fail to drop words of praise for Cody Rhodes’ brother.
Dwayne Johnson and Joe Rogan seemed to enjoy every bit of the story involving Dwayne Johnson’s debut. Revisiting the debut match at the WWE 1996 Survivor Series, The Rock felt grateful to the other stars in the ring. Without their cooperation and acknowledgement, he wouldn’t have been able to shine out as the star of the night.
It was exactly after this moment that Joe passed the comment on Cody Rhodes’ elder brother, Dustin Rhodes, aka Goldust. Looking back at The Rock’s WWE debut match as Rocky Maivia, the two witnessed him pinning Goldust. While viewing the clip, Dwayne revealed that the guy was Goldust.
To this, Joe Rogan said, “That guy was amazing.” Despite being a critic of professional wrestling, it appears that Rogan has now started acknowledging the legacy of the stars in the industry. He recently claimed that it is now that he has started to understand the professional wrestling industry and there can be no better example to prove the same.
Dustin Rhodes acknowledges the comment made by Joe Rogan
Amidst his conversation with The Great One, Joe Rogan’s comment about Dustin Rhodes seemed to take a backseat. Just like many other people, there is a possibility that Dustin could have missed the same. However, a fan ensured that things do not take place in such a manner.
The fan with the username 420311opp took to X and shared the YouTube clip for the podcast. In addition to this, he wrote, “Hey @dustinrhodes Joe Rogan said you were amazing on his show today with The Rock.” Consequently, the former WWE star saw his tweet and went ahead to like and repost it. While he did not comment anything on the same, it was clear that he had acknowledged the comment made by the UFC commentator.

Dustin Rhodes spent multiple years inside the WWE ring in different stints. His runs with the promotion were short-lived, yet he was able to establish a name for himself. It was during these stints that he became popular among the wrestling fans and left an impact on them, including Joe Rogan.
