Following his loss at SummerSlam against Roman Reigns, Main Event Jey Uso shockingly quit The Bloodline, and WWE last Friday night. The Stamford-based promotion also moved him to the Alumni section on its website.
Following this, WWE has removed the Tribal Chief and his faction from all upcoming shows. Not just on television but The Bloodline will not be part of the non-televised house shows as well.

The Bloodline story started during the pandemic in 2020. Jey Uso and Roman Reigns battled each other on multiple Premium Live Events and on all occasions, Tribal Chief picked up the win. After their ‘I Quit’ match inside the Hell in a Cell, the ancestors acknowledged Reigns.
From that point on, The Usos ignored their differences with Reigns and joined forces with their cousin. The twins also managed to capture the Undisputed Tag Team Champions. For nearly three years, the Bloodline was strong, but a rift in the faction was formed when Sami Zayn came into the mix.
Things went completely downhill when The Usos lost their titles to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 39. After the loss, Reigns seemingly lost trust in the twins and attempted to take things into his own hands.
The storyline took another turn earlier this year when Jimmy Uso superkicked Roman Reigns. In the following episodes of SmackDown, a brawl broke out between Solo Sikoa, Reigns, Jimmy, and Jey.
It seemed like the final chapter would be written at SummerSlam when Jey Uso faced Roman Reigns. But the twists and shocking events continued as Jimmy Uso turned on his own twin brother for the first time.
This led to an altercation between Jey and Jimmy on SmackDown last week. Finally, Mr. Main Event decided to call it quits and left the promotion.
A WWE veteran claimed that Jey Uso losing to Roman Reigns was the right decision
During an episode of the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, WWE veteran Konnan opened up about the main event of the SummerSlam 2023 Premium Live Event. The wrestling legend claimed that Roman Reigns retaining his title against Jey Uso was the right decision.
Konnan believed that The Tribal Chief hold onto the title if WWE has bigger plans for Reigns. The wrestling veteran said, “If you’re waiting for The Rock or you know that he’s coming, then this was a good move.” Konnan is convinced that if The Great One is going to be the next major opponent for Reigns then the title must be on the line.
But the feud between The Rock and Reigns may not take place anytime soon. As mentioned earlier, The Bloodline has been pulled from all upcoming events. Even the poster of the upcoming Payback Premium Live Event features The Judgment Day, completely neglecting Roman Reigns’ faction.
