WWE SummerSlam is hardly a fortnight away and the WWE Universe has its eyes fixed on Roman Reigns. Being the main event for the PLE, Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso has left the fans sitting on the edge of their seats. The main event will no longer be a mere match but will be the ‘Tribal Combat.’
Roman Reigns has been the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and it appears that Jey Uso will be the man to create history. However, it is not only Reigns’ title that is on the line but everything he owns. If Jey wins the match against Roman, he will be recognized as the new ‘Tribal Chief.’
Yes, you heard it right! Reigns placed his Ula Fala over the title symbolizing putting everything he has on stake. And that’s not all. The match would be a No-Disqualification match. Both Reigns and Jey would be allowed to use any weapon in their reach to walk out as the winner. A ‘Tribal Combat’ would also mean that the elders of their family need to acknowledge the same and Jey Uso said that the match was their idea.
The iconic rivalry between the two Samoan stars has reached its extremity and SummerSlam will be a great platform to even the odds. In the latest edition of WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown, the duo settled the terms of the match that is all set for August 5 in Detroit.
Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Rikishi are all set for the ‘Tribal Combat’
The hype for the ‘Tribal Combat’ among the fans has exceeded that of any other match. Now the match is not just a match but has become personal as the families have decided to get in. Recently, Rikishi, the father of The Usos shared his eagerness for the match on his Instagram story.
Sharing the SummerSlam poster from Jey Uso’s post to his story, Rikishi wrote, “Run it.” In addition to it, he also added the iconic blood drop emoticon. The story was a sign of approval from the elders of the family for the ‘Tribal Combat.’ Jey also shared an Instagram story with a blood drop emoji where he and Roman touched foreheads. With his tweet, Reigns too seemed to be prepared for a drop-dead action. The intensity of the match has certainly been hyped up. It would be worth the time and interest to see what result in the feud brings. With Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman standing with Roman Reigns, fans would be curious to know who comes from Jey’s side.
