However, the style is equally dangerous and because of that, Mysterio has gone through numerous surgeries in his career.
The Master of 619 revealed that once he was on a vacation with his family and his wife, Angie caught him taking the extra dose of medication. As a result, she gave him an ultimatum and asked him outright to choose between his family or the pills.
“So she gave me an ultimatum. She goes, ‘When we get back home, you can either take your pills or you can take your family. You choose.’ That really opened me up and it made me a stronger person.” Rey Mysterio said.
The Biggest Little Man admitted that her wife’s words changed everything for him and made him stronger. Consequently, Rey Mysterio stopped neglecting his health and started keeping it as his priority. He also stated that he never used painkillers again even after experiencing the worst pain of his life.
