Heyman said that he was impressed with Angle because he was fighting someone bigger than his own size. He then added, “Now Kurt Angle’s version that he beat Brock Lesnar. I haven’t heard that version from other people”
He went on to say that he cannot claim that Lesnar defeated Angle easily. He said, “It was two guys who started out just kind of you know goofing around and tussling, and hey oh well you got to take down on me…oh oh oh you got to take down on me, and the next thing you know for 30 minutes they just were taking each other down, and it became a kind of a contest, and I know that I didn’t keep track.”
The ex-manager of Brock Lesnar also mentioned that Lesnar and Angle were the two guys that no one wanted to get into the ring with since nobody else could have competed with either one of them.

WWE fans have heard a lot about Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle. Not only is their on-screen rivalry famous among fans, but their relationship outside of the ring has also been a topic of discussion within the WWE Universe.
Are Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar friends in real life?
Brock and Kurt were part of an epic rivalry that ultimately led to the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’. The duo faced each other in a remarkable match at WrestleMania 19.
However, the amazing part is that their rivalry paved the way for their real-life friendship. In fact, Lesnar and Angle are close friends in real life. They had reportedly spent a good amount of time together. They had trained, traveled, and had fun with each other.

It is to be mentioned that in an interview, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle stated that in the wrestling industry, The Beast Incarnate is one of his best friends. Thus, it is self-explanatory how good friends the two WWE superstars are.
Angle has retired from professional wrestling, whereas Lesnar is currently signed to WWE. The Beast was recently engaged in a feud with Cody Rhodes. However, the feud ended with Rhodes defeating Lesnar at SummerSlam 2023 and Lesnar showing respect to Rhodes. Currently, Lesnar is absent from WWE television, while his fans are waiting with high anticipation for his next move.
