WWE is reaching new heights every day and this time the credits have fallen on The Rock’s daughter’s shoulders. Dwayne Johnson and his ex-wife’s daughter – Simone have taken a big step in the world of professional wrestling. It is obvious to say that her parents would be extremely proud of her.
Simone stepped into the world of professional wrestling as Ava Raine in 2022. She joined the yellow brand of WWE and aligned herself as a member of Schism. In the last few months, she has involved herself in various feuds and participated in multiple tag team matches. However, her individual impact did not rise to prominence until now.

At the recent episode of NXT Live Event, Ava created history. Not only did she pick up her first-ever singles win but also became the first ever fourth-generation professional wrestler to do so. She defeated Ivy Nile to mark her win. The Rock‘s daughter has been receiving heaps of praise since then as she walks backstage with her first-ever solo win.
Ava had already defeated Ivy in June marking her first WWE win. However, it was a tag team match and The Rock’s daughter was patiently waiting to accomplish the same in singles competition. The time came sooner than everyone must have expected and she used the opportunity to the fullest. With this win, a lot awaits for the Schism member. The day won’t be far off when she steps onto the main roster following her father’s footsteps.
How did The Rock react to his daughter’s decision to become a WWE Superstar?
Simone was only 16 when she first expressed her desire to join her father and be a professional wrestler in the future. Recalling the conversation with Ava on Hart to Heart, Dwayne Johnson said, “That was a special moment.” He further added that he loved his daughter’s idea and was filled with immense pride.
However, the feeling was short-lived. “As a parent, you start to think about all the pitfalls, all the hardships, all that she’s going to go through because I’ve lived that business,” he said. Apart from all the glory that the career brings, there’s a dark side to the business including the backstage politics.
“Not only is that business difficult because you’re on the road 24/7, 365 days a year, but the pressure of who you are,” added the Black Adam star. Despite all the cons, he was confident of the values, philosophy, and ethics that he had imbibed in his daughter. Ava has accepted professional wrestling as her life’s path and is working hard for it in the eyes of everyone.
