Dwayne Johnson is once more in the spotlight, but this time not for the right reasons. Warner Bros. executives reportedly claimed that Dwayne Johnson disclosed inaccurate information regarding Black Man’s economic success.
Puck’s Matt Belloni reports that “many Warners execs” think “Team Dwayne Johnson” leaked classified information to Deadline about Black Adam’s profitability in order to refute earlier claims that the DC film would cause the studio to lose between $50 and $100 million.

The allegedly leaked report was “full with false assumptions,” according to Belloni, who also claimed that in the long run, “almost all movies of this size will finally pencil out once every window is exhausted over years and years.” Because of the movie’s underwhelming box office results, a sequel to Black Adam seems unlikely, according to current reports.
In James Gunn’s DC, the DCU has stated that Jason Mamoa will no longer play Aquaman while the cast is currently being reassembled. Additionally, Warner Bros. stated that it had canceled Wonder Woman 3 because it intends to depart from the Snyderverse in the future for DC.
How much money did Black Adam earn worldwide?
After one month in theatres, the anti-hero picture Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson, surpassed the $352 million milestone at the global box office. In its fourth weekend, Black Adam earned an additional $9.7 million from 76 foreign markets, bringing its global tally to more than $200 million.
While there are many things that may be stated about Black Adam’s performance, he is persistent. This superhero story was undoubtedly difficult to market, even with Johnson serving as a promotional tool for the film.

According to insiders acquainted with the finances, the movie needed to gross roughly $600 million in total to remain even and to pass that lofty goal to turn a profit. However, box office analysts predict that “Black Adam” will fizzle with less than $400 million internationally, which is problematic given that movie theatre owners keep about half of those revenues.
Despite the upcoming changes in DC, some upcoming projects have already been canceled. Just a few examples include Wonder Woman 3, Man of Steel 2, and Aquaman 2. Due to Black Adam’s underwhelming performance on the big screen, it’s possible that the sequel will also be canceled.
