SUMMARY
- Rhea Ripley fought against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40.
- Before the match, Mami had a special entrance as Motionless in White perfomed her theme song.
WrestleMania XL is officially underway, and the first match of Night 1 saw Rhea Ripley defend her Women’s World title against Becky Lynch. The female stars have given their all to the build-up of their match on the road to WrestleMania, and that’s probably why they were given the opportunity to kickoff The Show of Shows.
After Becky Lynch made her way to the ring for the encounter, the WWE Universe was excited for Rhea’s entrance, but a lot of fans were left surprised during it. It happened because they misinterpreted Ripley’s theme song performer, Chris “Motionless” Cerulli, from Motionless in White as The Eradicator.

As the singer’s face looked quite similar to Mami, a lot of pro wrestling enthusiasts believed that it was Rhea Ripley, and they even shared it on social media. Sharing how the guy looked like Ripley, someone wrote, “Thought that was rhea.” “Thought Rhea looked different,” another member of the community wrote about the entrance.
Sharing a hilarious moment that occurred during Mami’s theme music, a WWE fan shared, “My grandpa goes “is that Rhea Ripley?!” “Bro looks like Rhea,” another audience member wrote while referring to Ripley’s entrance before her WrestleMania 40 match against Lynch.
As Chris “Motionless”Cerulli garnered unwanted attention after his iconic walkout with Ripley at WrestleMania 40, Triple H posted about their performance through X. The Game wrote, “Safe to say @MIWband has solidified their place in the @WWE family. What an awesome performance to help kick off tonight’s #WomensWorldTitle Match at #WrestleMania XL.” This shows that their performance was liked by Hunter.
Rhea Ripley retained her title at WrestleMania XL
Even though Rhea’s entrance became a topic of hilarious takes from the WWE universe, it didn’t last long as Rhea Ripley retained her title at WrestleMania XL. Her match with The Man was an encounter everyone expected to be a banger, and it actually delivered at The Show of Shows.
This bout between two of the best workers from the women’s side showed the skills Becky and Mami have, and they complimented each other pretty well. It’s true that Becky Lynch had her moments and gave good competition to Mami, but she wasn’t able to win the prestigious title.

As The Eradicator continued her dominant title reign by defeating Becky Lynch at The Grandest Stage of them All, it remains to be seen what’s next for her. On the other hand, it’ll be interesting to see which direction The Man takes from here. Will she join the dark side and go through a character change? Only the future will tell.
