Tiana Lillian Marie Caffey is currently signed to WWE NXT and performs under the ring name Jaida Parker. She was born on February 12, 1999, in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and is currently 25 years old. Coming from a soccer background, her parents, Tina Caffey and Timothy Caffey reside in Port St. Lucie. Her mother played basketball, and her father is a soccer coach at Jensen Beach High School. He studied at the University of Alabama while growing up in Alabama.
Parker’s older brother, Timmy Caffey, plays soccer for Becker College and Florida A&M. When Caffey was younger, she used to like wrestling with her older brother. Even though her brother was four years older than her, she remembers setting a challenge for herself when she was just three years old to do whatever he was doing. Her love for wrestling made her transition from soccer to the WWE.

Jaida Parker played soccer before coming to WWE
Tina Caffey made her initial choice to get involved in soccer. Her talent for the game was soon apparent, and during her junior year at Jensen Beach High School, she was chosen for the U.S. U-17 Women’s National Soccer Team. Parker continued her education on a soccer scholarship at Louisiana State University. At LSU, she earned a degree in business and sports administration in 2021.
She was a great central midfielder at Port St. Lucie, Florida’s Jensen Beach High School. Before the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in the summer of 2016, Jaida participated in the World Cup camp as a member of the United States Under-17 Women’s National Team. The former soccer player was a member of Louisiana State University’s Tigers in the SEC.
Parker played 4,741 minutes in all 81 games for the LSU Women’s soccer team, where she earned a varsity letter and contributed to the team’s SEC championship. Her ground-breaking play made LSU’s goals-against average the seventh lowest in school history.
A look at Jaida Parker’s WWE career so far
Jaida Parker was ready for Major League Soccer and registered for the draft despite having injured her ACL in her senior year. She received an email from the WWE while she awaited word on her fate. Parker was surprised to see a future in the Stamford-based promotion, which also shocked her parents. She chose to accept the invitation from the WWE after learning with disappointment that she had not been selected by an MLS team.

Caffey describes the abrupt shift in her future intentions as “life-changing emotionally.” She and eight other athletes were chosen from 50 former Division-I athletes who signed contracts after taking part in a tryout in Dallas. After moving from her Port St. Lucie home to Orlando, Caffey started rigorous professional wrestling training. In March, she made her debut in a match in Sanford, Florida.
She was signed, along with seventeen other rising stars from various martial arts and fighting backgrounds, as part of the most recent performance center class. WWE anticipates paying the professional wrestler between $50,000 and $150,000 annually. Parker debuted on October 17, 2023, on NXT, when she faced Karmen Petrovic in the opening round of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.

On February 13, 2024, she defeated Adriano Rizzo on WWE NXT and declared that she was the future. During several interviews, Parker has talked about her inspiration being Jade Cargill. On her dream opponents, she named Mercedes Mone and Bianca Belair as the superstars she dreams to face. Parker’s story has been inspirational in every way and continues to captivate the audience.
