In professional wrestling, the Samoan dynasty is arguably the most well-known and significant. Respect is immediately given to the multigenerational line of wrestlers in practically every organization, including NJPW, TNA, and WWE. One of the best rising young talents in the Samoan family is Jacob Fatu.
Since its creation, The Bloodline has, in reality, dominated the hearts of countless people. It appears that another Samoan star, Jacob Fatu, will bring some fresh blood to the faction.
Jacob Samuel Fatu, born April 18, 1992, is a notable Major League Wrestling (MLW) championship holder. California is where he was born the United States of America. The 31-year-old wrestler, who weighs 280 pounds and stands at 6 feet 1 inch (185 cm) tall, has six children as of 2024.

Born into the illustrious Anoa’i family, which has produced many famous wrestlers, Jacob is a proud member of the renowned Samoan wrestling dynasty. Fatu has continued the historic pro-wrestling tradition that his family started. Jacob’s father, Sam Fatu, popularly known as The Tonga Kid, was a WWE star, too.
Despite Jacob’s father being a successful professional wrestler, it was Rikishi who was a big part of his early training. He used inspiration from watching his cousins, The Usos, on television to turn hardship into a drive for a future in wrestling. Fatu, a proud member of the Anoa’ai wrestling dynasty, is the brother of Journey Fatu.
Jacob Fatu’s relationship with Roman Reigns
It’s been stated that Rikishi trained Jacob Fatu before he landed in the pro wrestling business. In addition to his guidance, Sinn Bodhi and Black Pearl also trained the Major League Wrestling superstar and played a major role in his success.
The big turning point in his life occurred when, at the tender age of eighteen, he was taken into custody on robbery charges. After witnessing The Usos battle on television while incarcerated, he decided to get into pro wrestling.
Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are part of the same Samoan family. Rikishi and Sam Fatu’s father also share the same surname and wed one of Reigns’ aunts. Thus, Jacob Fatu is the cousin of Roman Reigns. Consequently, he is also the cousin of The Usos.
Jacob Fatu’s achievements that make him a must-see star in WWE
Because he belongs to the Anoaʻi family, pro wrestling runs in Jacob’s family. However, he didn’t decide to become a professional wrestler until he witnessed the match during his imprisonment. In the midst of this, Fatu began receiving instruction from his uncle, Rikishi, and at the age of 20, he finally made his debut in 2012.
He and Black Pearl put on a winning performance in his debut match, marking the beginning of an incredible career as a professional wrestler. Following this, the Samoan Werewolf competed mostly for indie promotions in California, sometimes working in tag matches alongside relatives of the Anoaʻi family. He combines powerful punches, exceptional agility, and acrobatics.
Signing with Major League Wrestling (MLW) in 2019, Jacob Fatu teamed up with his relatives Samu and Samu’s son, Lance Anoaʻi. At Kings of Colosseum, Fatu defeated Tom Lawlor to win the title, which he then successfully defended on Saturday Night SuperFight.

What can be Jacob Fatu’s role in the ongoing Bloodline storyline?
Since February 2024, there has been much talk about Jacob Fatu’s in-ring future since everyone in the business wants to know what’s next for him. Many people questioned if he would follow in his family’s footsteps and make a move to the WWE, and it appears that this is becoming more likely. There are rumors that Jacob has already signed a WWE contract.
The industry has been buzzing over the company’s rumored decision to sign him, since their agreement may alter the course of his professional career. Many people think Fatu has what it takes to succeed in WWE, and if the company makes the most of him, he might quickly rise to the status of a megastar.
Fans have been curious about his role with The Bloodline in addition to the hypotheses surrounding his usage. Changes within the faction were anticipated when Roman Reigns’ title reign ended at WrestleMania 40 at the hands of Cody Rhodes. The situation for Bloodline looked brutal as Solo Sikoa kicked Jimmy Uso out of the faction just after Mania 40.

Tama Tonga shockingly joined the group leading to one of the most anticipated rivalries in recent memory. Various theories suggest that Jacob might be part of Solo’s Bloodline whereas Roman’s return would create a Bloodline civil war. Only time will tell how things will play out for Jacob and the Bloodline in the coming months and weeks.
