Alexa Bliss has been among the most popular names in WWE’s women’s division over the last decade. Despite not being the most powerful or heavyweight performer in the company, Bliss has achieved a lot of success and has also enjoyed several reigns with the prestigious world title in the Stamford-based promotion.
Amid her frequent involvement at the top of the female roster, Alexa has been involved in some memorable feuds, and one of them was her rivalry with Bianca Belair. These two had a highly personal feud that started in late 2022 and continued till early 2023. But during a match in that phase, one of their matches had a spot that was eerily similar to a Hollywood movie.
This incident basically took place during their match on a weekly episode of Monday Night RAW, as they recreated the iconic fight scene from the popular horror film Scary Movie 3. The duo gave fans a flashback to the back-and-forth between Brenda and Tabitha, also known as Brenda vs. The Ring, and witnessing that fight segment in a WWE match was really unexpected for the wrestling crowd.

While they made the attempt to recreate the fight scene, the female superstars didn’t lose their hold on the match, as they were able to maintain the required athleticism and intensity in the squared ring. But, while keeping their professionalism, they managed to infuse an entertainment touch to the bout, however, a large portion of fans accused WWE of copying and targeted them for not being up to the mark of creativity.
Alexa Bliss’ vintage spot invites criticizm from the audience
As the vintage Alexa Bliss spot once again became a topic of discussion on social media, it invited a lot of criticizm from the professional wrestling community. Sharing how WWE does not have enough in their book to add creativity to the matches, someone from the community wrote, “WWE is running out of ideas.” (Via: X)
Pointing out how the company copied everything from the fight scene of that movie, an audience member said, “So they are copying the whole fight.” Another professional wrestling enthusiast wrote, “It’s almost like it’s always been staged and choreographed.” “Isn’t this embarrassing?,” a fan commented about that Alexa Bliss segment.
Alexa Bliss might make her WWE return sooner than expected
While the spot from Alexa’s match with Bianca has once again grabbed the audience, this isn’t the only thing that has made Bliss a topic of discussion in recent months. The 32-year-old has also been a part of discussions because of her WWE absence. Alexa Bliss and her husband welcomed a child in late 2023, but the female superstar has still not made her in-ring return.
However, all that can change, as the former Women’s Champion might make her WWE return sooner than expected. There have been hints of the return of Uncle Howdy for a long time, and as per reports, he is going to return alone. Rumors have revealed that a brand new faction, “Wyatt 6,” is going to make its debut soon, and Bliss is expected to be a part of this group.

As Alexa had a long run with Bray Wyatt, and this stable is more like a tribute to the late superstar, having Bliss be a part of this group is like a no-brainer, and that’s why Alexa Bliss is expected to return to the Triple H-led promotion through this new creative plan. Amid all the uncertainty around this storyline, it remains to be seen what exactly the future holds for the female performer’s rumored comeback to the professional wrestling world.
