WWE legend Dwayne Johnson has had several business ventures apart from his Hollywood and wrestling careers. From selling tequila to owning a production house, The Rock has seemingly done it all. The XFL was another venture that he entered despite uncertainty about whether re-invigorating the franchise was actually worth it.
Since their divorce in 2008, Dwayne Johnson and his first wife, Dany Garcia, have been inseparable when it comes to their businesses and careers. The latter has been instrumental in fast-tracking The Rock’s growth as his manager and has also co-owned several businesses with her former husband, including the XFL.

However, the league was forced to sell amidst bankruptcy and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic despite starting in 2020.
