Adam Copeland has been a professional wrestling sensation for almost three decades. Having worked for 25+ years in the WWE under the ring name of Edge, his relationship often made its way out to the eyes of the public. Married to his co-star Beth Phoenix, she wasn’t the first woman he tied the knot to.
Adam Copeland took his first wedding vows to Alannah Morley in 2001. She is the sister of Val Venis, a former WWE star. However, their relationship did not last long. Within three years, the duo got divorced. Despite being his first love, the two failed to pledge their nuptial vows.
The reason for the divorce never made it out to the public. However, many people claim that infidelity was involved between the two. Within seven months, Edge found himself in love with Lisa Ortiz, who came as a saviour amidst his life’s chaos. In his book, ‘Adam Copeland on Edge’, the former WWE star chose not to break out the reason for his divorce.

How did Adam Copeland and Alannah Morley meet?
Adam Copeland and Alannah Morley had a rather interesting love story. Edge shared his side of this story in his book, ‘Adam Copeland on Edge‘. The two first met each other via Alannah’s brother, Val Venis. Edge referred to her as a “sixteen-year-old Madonna wannabe” at that time. However, when the two met again, they started developing a connection.
“There was an instant connection… We started dating in June, which leads me to the somewhat disastrous story of our first date,” Copeland wrote. The two met for their first date at Alannah’s friend’s house soon after he came out of surgery. Her friend had cats, to whom Edge was allergic.
Despite a horrible first date, the two soon took things forward in their lives. After almost a year and a half, Adam and Alannah took a cruise to the Bahamas, where the WWE star proposed to her. Soon after, in 2001, the two took their wedding vows. However, three years down the lane, their beautiful love story came to a heartbreaking end.
