SUMMARY
- The Judgement Day and The Bloodline are some of the most influential stables in recent times.
- While The Bloodline has played a major part in WWE bookings, The Judgment Day may just have a slightly better legacy.
The Judgment Day has remained a mainstay on WWE RAW ever since WrestleMania 38. Initially conceptualized as a spooky faction, the group has now become one of the coolest parts of WWE’s flagship show.
The Judgment Day squad initially comprised Edge, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley. While Edge soon got kicked out, Finn Balor, Dominic Mysterio, and JD McDonagh eventually found their way in.
Fans often draw parallels between The Judgment Day and another dominant heel group, The Bloodline. Led by Roman Reigns, The Bloodline presents a strong case of being the most dominant group of the modern era.

However, certain factors indicate that Judgment Day might be better at the faction game than the Samoan Brotherhood.
#1. The presence of Mami adds another dimension to The Judgment Day
The Bloodline includes some pretty dynamic characters. From a cunning chap like Paul Heyman to a beloved fan-favorite like Jey Uso, there are some great names in Roman Reigns‘ faction to keep the fans hooked.
However, The Judgment Day outshines their rivals in terms of fan engagement, thanks to the presence of The Mami, Rhea Ripley. A dominant female superstar in her own right, the Aussie superstar enjoys a massive fan following amongst the casuals. She certainly brings a lot of eyeballs to Judgment Day, thanks to her natural charisma.
Interestingly, Ripley is also the best in-ring worker across the two groups, which further establishes her superiority. Apart from Roman Reigns, there’s not a single Bloodline member that comes anywhere close to The Nightmare’s star power.
#2. The Judgment Day has elevated more members than The Bloodline
The Samoan family business revolves around Roman Reigns. While it speaks volumes of Reigns’ greatness, it somewhat diminishes the importance of other members of the group.
Apart from Jey Uso, no other Bloodline member has been elevated to the main event level. While Sami Zayn was already a star, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa have struggled to break out of The Big Dog’s shadow.

Sikoa, who squashed John Cena at Crown Jewel last year, is currently on a losing streak of more than 30 matches. While The Bloodline members do make great side characters, they are primarily used as props to protect Roman Reigns.
Judgment Day is significantly better in this regard. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, whose role on the roster was uncertain, found a platform to prosper in Judgement Day. After being stuck in the mid-card for a while, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley proudly call themselves world champions today.
Most importantly, Judgment Day helped Dominik Mysterio, a young kid that no one believed in, come out of his father’s gigantic shadow.

The group instilled in him the confidence to be himself, allowing him to become one of the most infamous characters on the main roster. Going by the numbers only, The Bloodline’s tally of two main-event talents falters against Judgment Day’s four established megastars.
#3. The Judgment Day has retained fan engagement comparatively longer than The Bloodline
The Bloodline undoubtedly ranks amongst the greatest WWE factions of the modern era. However, it is not perfect by any means.
Whenever Roman Reigns is absent from the television, the faction tends to lose its credibility. Since there is no other established star in the stable apart from the Tribal Chief, fans find it difficult to stay invested in the Bloodline business.
This is where Judgment Day excels as a unit. The group contains some seasoned storytellers who constantly generate reactions from the audience. In fact, the crowd not letting Dominik Mysterio pick up the mic has become a running gag that keeps getting better and better.

Even when the group is not involved in an intriguing storyline, all the members are skilled enough to entertain the fans through their in-ring exhibition. While The Bloodline keeps blowing hot and cold, The Judgment Day has consistently been a popular group amongst the fans.
