UFC fans were greeted by a new face during the broadcast of UFC Vegas 68. The broadcast team included familiar names such as John Gooden, Michael Bisping, and the debuting commentator, Laura Sanko. Sanko’s previous job was taken up by Charly Arnolt, a sports broadcaster and television personality who works under ESPN.
The first job, in which Arnolt received fame, was when she worked as a reporter for WSAZ-TV in 2010. She was a part of the WWE broadcast team from 2016 to 2021 and WWE fans will recognize her as Charly Caruso. As a part of the WWE’s broadcast team,s she conducted kayfabe as well as shoot interviews alongside Cathy Kelley, Byron Saxton, and others.

After leaving the WWE, she moved to ESPN. There, she presented updates on SportsCenter and also hosted the SportsCenter show on Snapchat. Arnolt made her first televised UFC appearance at UFC on ESPN 39 in July of last year. The event which aired out of the APEX Arena was headlined by the lightweight bout between Rafael Dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev.
Arnolt conducted pre-fight interviews during the broadcast of UFC Vegas 68. This included an interview with the event’s headliner, Derrick Lewis. The 34-year-old broadcaster also recently tweeted about the lack of promotion received by UFC 284 headliners Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski. It seems as if Arnolt is here to stay and judging by the reaction of a certain UFC middleweight, this is a welcome development.
Kelvin Gastelum gets a wild response after his reaction to UFC reporter Charly Arnolt
As mentioned prior, #13 ranked UFC middleweight, Kelvin Gastelum could not contain his ardor after seeing Charly Arnolt during the UFC Vegas 68 broadcast. He immediately sent out a tweet about Arnolt that garnered a wild reaction from fight fans.

In the Tweet, Gastelum wrote, “Woah woah woah! Who is this new reporter for the #ufc? “Some fans joined Gastelum as many of them collectively thirsted over Arnolt.

Other fans were quick to point out that Arnolt had been in the UFC since UFC on ESPN 39 in July. And they questioned how Gastelum hadn’t noticed this.
That's the beautiful @CharlyOnTV. She was a commentator for WWE back in the day

Many fans also poked fun at Gastelum. They amusingly went after him for the Tweet he sent out, and also made fun of his recent UFC record.

Kelvin was definitely not the only one lusting after Charly Arnolt as evidenced by the replies under his Tweet. However, it is shocking that he was not aware of Arnolt joining the UFC broadcast team given that she has been active since July 2022. However, Gastelum has fought not since August 2021, which makes this somewhat excusable.
