The brawl at AEW All Out 2022
The Brawl Out at AEW All Out 2022 is known as the most infamous incident in the history of AEW. After the event was over, CM Punk, the AEW Champion, went off during the press conference. Punk did not seem well, as he was injured, and irritated, which resulted in his rant against The Young Bucks and Colt Cabana.
After all the mayhem in the media ended, Kenny Omega, along with Young Bucks and AEW legal representatives, went to Punk’s locker room to discuss the situation. Things didn’t go well from this point. It was reported that CM Punk threw the first punch, and the brawl started.
CM Punk’s attorney Stephen P. New has confirmed Punk’s AEW All Out 2022 Brawl NDA was signed for life.
The only person not subject to an NDA, who’s not subject to confidentiality provisions & can tell the story one day is Ace Steel’s wife, Lucy.

Details from the incident are not clear, but some things, like the chair thrown at Matt Jackson and Punk’s dog Larry getting hurt, were out in public. Ace Steel, who was accused of biting Kenny Omega during the brawl, was reportedly fired from AEW.
CM Punk and Ace Steel signing NDAs for life
Everyone involved in the nasty brawl was taken off the TV, stripped of their titles, and made to sign NDAs about the events. Punk’s attorney, Stephen, said that these NDAs were for life, and the superstars could never explain the events at the brawl.
After the infamous incident took place, CM Punk was released from AEW in September 2023. Following his departure from the Tony Khan-led promotion, Punk returned to WWE in the Survivor Series 2023. He was back in the Stamford-based promotion after a decade and is currently signed to the RAW brand. Fans are anticipating seeing him in the Men’s Royal Rumble 2024.
