WWE Chief Executive Officer Nick Khan on Friday spoke about the WWE's potential sale and Execution Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon's future in an interview with CNBC.

Vince McMahon recently made his return to the WWE after he was forced to retire from his roles following sexual misconduct allegations last year.

According to reports, the reason behind Vince's return was to negotiate a new TV deal and to find a suitable buyer for his company.

Khan told CNBC that Vince McMahon will be willing to step away from the company if he is able to secure a good deal for his billion-dollar company.

“Vince has declared to the board he’s 100% open to transactions where he’s not included in the company moving forward,” the WWE CEO told CNBC on Friday.

Khan also said that the Stamford-based company has hired financial advisors for the process of the sale and it'll take approximately three months for the entire process to reach a conclusion.

WWE during the recent investor's call had announced that the company is currently at an all-time high when it comes to generated revenue and this could turn out to be a major advantage for them.

It'll be interesting to see what the future will hold for the Stamford-based promotion moving forward. Triple H staying as the Creative Head is positive news for fans and talents.
