WWE Star John Cena Started Bodybuilding Out of Fear

John Cena is one of WWE's all-time greatest superstars. The 16-time World Champion is also one of the strongest professional wrestlers in the world thanks to his bodybuilding past.

After graduating from college with a degree in exercise physiology, Cena decided to step into the field of bodybuilding but eventually ended up in the pro wrestling world.

In an old interview, The former WWE champion revealed the reason for his decision to pursue bodybuilding as a profession.

Cena admitted that while he was a kid, he was getting teased and beaten up in school. This is the reason why he chose to become a bodybuilder.

The Peacemaker star said that he started working out when he was 12 years old out of fear and it became a part of his daily routine ever since.

Cena has been part of several anti-bullying campaigns since he became a popular WWE superstar and has spread awareness about bullying and its negative impact on children.

Cena is currently one of the top stars in Hollywood after his recent DC project Peacemaker was a huge success.

The former face of the WWE is yet to have a match in 2022 but is rumored to be at WrestleMania next year. His opponent for Mania as of now is unclear.
