CM Punk's return to a WWE ring is something that's been talked about among wrestling fans in the past few months.

Punk is currently suspended from AEW after he was involved in a backstage fight with the AEW EVPs Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.

There are rumors of Tony Khan buying out Punk's contract and releasing him from AEW which will make him a free agent.

Former United States champion Apollo Crews was asked about the possibility of CM Punk jumping ship and joining the WWE.

"It's not that I wouldn't be happy or I wouldn't be upset — I don't know if I'd really feel any kind of way, honestly," he told Wrestling Inc.

Crews also praised Punk and said he is a very talented individual and only time will tell whether he'll make his return to the Stamford based company.

Fans have mixed reactions to the news of Punk coming back to the WWE as certain people feel that his attitude will affect the company's talents backstage.

Apollo Crews is currently on NXT and is set to challenge Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship this week at the Deadline premium live event.
