With the debate on the current NBA G.O.A.T. ongoing among several eminent sports athletes, including legends and current stars, a reference from a past opinion made by a WWE legend provides clarity.

Dating back to his 2020 interview with Sports Illustrated, WWE legend The Undertaker sat down in discussion on the NBA G.O.A.T. debate between NBA star LeBron James and legend Michael Jordan.

“It’s undeniable how great a player LeBron is, but Jordan just had a different mindset. He’s second to none. Maybe it was the era I grew up in. I was much more involved in basketball at that point."

Taking the debate further by revealing his choice between the two NBA eminent star players, he then states, "Kobe Bryant belongs somewhere in that conversation, too, but I’m definitely a Jordan guy."

Undertaker's selection of the NBA G.O.A.T. might reflect an opposing viewpoint against the current LeBron's fans with their own consideration for the Los Angeles Lakers star as the NBA G.O.A.T.

The WWE legend Mark William Calaway, on the other hand, or 'The Undertaker', a name given as a reflection of his professional career as a wrestler, is himself regarded as one of the G.O.A.T's of WWE.

The never-ending debate, however, segregates the two big names into two different eras, with Michael Jordan belonging to the 90s and the current Lakers star being included under the young generation.

With each generation having their own choice of preference, the names of other NBA stars or legends have popped up, adding to the discussion, including Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, and Stephen Curry.
