PWInsider reported that the WWE legend suffered the episode while he was out having lunch with his friends at his condo in the state of Florida.

The veteran commentator was present at the recent Royal Rumble premium live event as he was the panelist for their kickoff show. He also appeared as a guest commentator at the Raw XXX show.

This is not the first time Lawler has had a stroke as he once fell unconscious on live TV while he was commentating on a 2012 episode of Monday Night RAW.

Lawler was able to recover from the illness but following the incident, the legend stopped being a regular part of the commentary team and started working a part-time schedule moving forward.

Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell recently provided an update on Lawler's health on Twitter and said that "His latest condition is actually good and he is expected to recover. Good news."

Lawler is a former NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion and he earned the title 'The King' after defeating his mentor Jackie Fargo. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the year 2007.
