The Queen Charlotte Flair made her return to the WWE in December after she was written off TV with a kayfabe injury that she suffered during her match against Ronda Rousey in May 2022.

On her return, she was able to get revenge on Rousey by defeating the UFC legend in an impromptu match for the Smackdown Women's Championship.

Charlotte has been booked strongly since she was called up to the main roster as she has won several championships in her career. According to rumors, Rousey was squashed in order to please Flair.

But Flair in a recent interview with Ryan Satin on "Out of Character" revealed that she wasn't aware that there was going to be a title change right after her return to the WWE ring.

"I didn't find out I was winning the title until I got there, I thought it was going to be a walkout surprise, when I got there, they're like,' Oh, you need your gear.'" she said. (h/t: Comicbook)

Flair is currently feuding with Sonya Deville on Smackdown and after their recent backstage brawl, a title match has been made official for this Friday between the two superstars.

Ronda Rousey following her defeat has been absent from WWE TV and her future in the company is unclear as of now. Fans expect her to return and challenge Flair for a rematch soon.

Charlotte will also have another person to worry about if she retains her title as the Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley recently announced that she will face her at Mania for the championship.
