Leading a career as an established NBA star, Stephen Curry has been a great source of inspiration for the younger generation of today, carrying utter determination and hard work throughout.

With his own inspiring career, Curry has hosted several NBA camps for the past eight years, featuring future draft prospects from high school given the opportunity to play against the best players.

Young athletes, including Anthony Edwards, Jalen Green, Azzi Fudd, Paige Bueckers, Dennis Smith Jr., and several others, have been some of the big names to be featured in his camps.

During an interview with Complex writer Kameron Hay, Stephen Curry discusses his recent Curry Camp in San Francisco, giving an insight into the experience and participation of the high schoolers.

"We get up close and personal with the next high school athletes that are coming up in the game. It gives me a lot of energy, and hopefully I give them a lot of inspiration to keep on their journey."

Diving further into the discussion, Stephen, when asked about a player from his camp whom he felt was special and different in comparison to others, mentioned Anthony Edwards.

Stating, "He had a different demeanor and competitive presence on court during our camp sessions, and even in the showcase game that we had, There were plays that he made that nobody else could."

Talking further about his experience with Anthony, he stated, "I think that most people who watched that year would have had a lot of confidence in the fact that he'd be who he wanted to be."

With Curry's opinion coming out to be true, Anthony Edward got drafted by the NBA in 2020 by the Minnesota Timberwolves as the first overall pick and is currently a part of the World Cup.

Averaging 19.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in his rookie season, Edwards performance earned him the honor of All-Rookie First Team in 2021 and an All-Star appearance this year.
