Why Did Conor McGregor Say No to Vin Diesel?

By: Jeron Jacob

Hollywood star, Vin Diesel was recently featured in a Brazilian TV show, "Giro Combate" where he spoke about UFC star, Conor McGregor.

During the show, Vin Diesel mentioned that Conor had withdrawn from his first movie, "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage."

He said, "I had created a role for Conor McGregor, and after he lost to Nate Diaz, he had to go get his manhood back to fight the second time, so he wasn't able to do this film at the time."

This year in March, Conor McGregor fought against Nate Diaz at UFC 196 and ended up losing the match which left him frustrated.

However, Conor McGregor got his revenge by winning against Nate Diaz when they clashed again in August at UFC 202.

As Conor was busy with his fights, Vin Diesel replaced him and gave the role to fellow UFC star, Michael Bisping.

Currently, Conor is all set to make his Hollywood debut along with actor, Jake Gyllenhaal for the movie; Road House.

The movie will be about a UFC fighter who works as a bouncer in a roadhouse, the role of Conor is still unknown.
