As one of the most experienced players, currently with 19 seasons in the NBA, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, as a popular athlete figure of today, is linked to two of the world's greatest leagues.

LeBron James past life might have an emerging story of his basketball career, but there still exists a part of his life associated and linked with the soccer industry from his childhood until today.

Dating back to his childhood, LeBron's junior year at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School as part of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team under Division I reflected his eligibility for the NFL.

Having discontinued his soccer career due to an injury, LeBron's interest in it, however, outgrew his professional career in the NBA with his longtime support, especially for the Liverpool team.

In partnership with the Fenway Sports Group, James purchased a 2% minority stake in Liverpool in 2011, linking his love for soccer with a small ownership stake in the English Premier League team.

In one of his interviews with 'The Guardian', LeBron shares his opinion on his ownership. “I am thrilled to be working with John Henry and Tom Werner. These guys, like me, have a passion for sports.

"For me, this is about being in business with an organization that loves sports as much as I do. Liverpool are definitely one of those clubs. They are like Man U, the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Yankees."

Stating further on his interest, "There are some teams and logos you see, no matter where you are in the world, and you know exactly who they are and what they mean. I see Liverpool in that group."

Keeping aside the discussion of his business link, LeBron has been an avid supporter and fan of Liverpool, from his appraisals on social media to his appearances at their soccer matches.
