Wayne Rooney is a retired Manchester United and England striker.

.

The goalscorer was a part of a ringside skid on WWE Monday Night RAW in 2015, Manchester.

The striker revealed that his eldest son is a massive WWE fan which brought them in the show.

But when the audience thought the striker is just another spectator, things took a turn.

Wade Barrett nudged Rooney – “I'd hate for your little boy to sit there and watch his own father fail. Because let's face it, he gets to experience that every single time you step on a football pitch."

Rooney was all smiles the entire time until he blew a slap on wrestlers face and shocked the crowd.

Later, talking about the incident Wade Barrett said “We did what we did – had a little jaw-jack, I talked a little smack like I tend to do, and he slapped me! That was it, it was a lot of fun”

“There’s something hilarious about two boys from the north of England getting into it in this giant American company that is WWE. A lot of fun, loved every second of that – great guy too!"

The news made headlines then and the fans can’t wait to see more of the Derby County manager on WWE.
