Wayne Rooney Wanted a Boxing Fight Against 29-Year-Old Star

Born in Liverpool, Wayne Rooney comes among the best English football players of all time. He was known for his ability to score acrobatic goals.

Rooney has scored more than 300 goals for his club and country. Post-retirement he is busy managing clubs. Currently, he is the head coach of a club named D.C. UNITED.

Rooney is also a huge boxing enthusiast. Lately, Rooney has been in news for his urge to fight a boxing match with a popular British content creator KSI.

KSI is a well-known entertainer, He has been in numerous altercations. KSI has also started boxing along with content creation. His beef with Logan Paul broke the internet.

KSI in a recent press conference revealed that the Manchester United Star messaged and invited him to have a boxing match.

KSI said, "It's funny, and I hope he doesn't get annoyed that I'm saying this, but Wayne Rooney hit me up saying 'oh we should fight'. I said 'no', I just don't want to do that."

He further added that Rooney might become a great boxer but currently his focus is on Jake Paul and after that battle, KSI might give it a shot against Rooney.

KSI will fight Danis on January 14th. Meanwhile, Rooney is busy with talk shows regarding the ongoing FIFA world cup and it will be interesting to see what goes ahead between the two Englishmen.
