WWE founder Vince McMahon recently made his return to the WWE after he was forced to retire from his roles following sexual misconduct allegations last year.

Fans and talents were not pleased to see the veteran return to the company as many felt that he will be taking over creative duties from Triple H and changing the product massively.

Triple H then later announced that his father-in-law's arrival won't have any impact on the creative side of things as Hunter will be the one who will have the last say.

The main reason for Vince's return according to reports is to find a buyer for his company and there were rumors that he sold the company to Saudi Arabia's PIF but it was later revealed to be false.

WWE's CEO Nick Khan has now confirmed in an interview with CNBC that if Vince is able to find the right sales partner then he will be open to leaving the company forever.

“Vince has declared to the board he’s 100% open to transactions where he’s not included in the company moving forward,” Nick Khan told CNBC on Friday.

Khan also said that the Stamford based company has hired financial advisors for the process of the sale and it'll take approximately three months for the entire process to reach a conclusion.

It'll be interesting to see what the future will hold for the company under new ownership. Comcast, Netflix, Liberty Media and Endeavour are some big names that are linked as potential buyers.
