WWE veteran Brian "Road Dogg" James worked with the WWE for over three decades as a superstar and as a backstage producer.

The star worked under Vince McMahon for the majority of his career and is currently working under his friend Triple H.

The former D Generation X member revealed that Vince McMahon didn't have a clue about some of his superstars as he didn't watch their matches in NXT.

One major star that Vince McMahon didn't know was Gunther (formerly known as Walter). The Ring General was on Smackdown in 2019 while the rest of the roster was stuck in Saudi Arabia.

WWE did an invasion angle with NXT stars invading Smackdown to take out the main roster stars to build up the Survivor Series 2019.

On the "Oh…. You Didn't Know" podcast, Road Dogg said that Vince McMahon didn't have a clue on what Gunther brought to the table.

Gunther was called up to the main roster after two years. Vince McMahon later reportedly lost interest in the superstar after a segment with R-Truth on Raw.

Gunther is currently the Intercontinental champion on Smackdown and is one of the top stars on the blue brand. He's unbeaten in singles competition since making his Smackdown debut.
